Richard (Tuck) Tucker is a Philadelphia born guitarist who has been on the professional music scene in every genre imaginable - Soul, R&B, Jazz and Rock. Richard has developed a rich and colorful history as a muscian touring the world 17 times and recording with many major artists.

His musical career began at age 6 as a member of his school and neighborhood choir. He received his first guitar lessons at age 10 and by age 15 was playing at churches, block parties, small bars and cabarets.

Richard was a student of Ron Henderson the guitarist of the legendart Delphonics and McFadden & Whitehead. While attending Temple University, Richard his musical studies with guitarist great, the late Calvin Harris.

Richard has worked with Philadelphia International Records giving him the opportunity to work and tour with R&B legens such as: Harlod Melvin & The Blue Notes, Blue Magic, De De Sharp, Lou Rawls, Phyllis Hyman, Dexter Wansel, Teddy Pendergrass and Billy Paul.

Among Richard's many exploits, he was a member of the house band for the well known Black Lilly sessions. Richard shared the stage with: Kindred The Family Soul, Musiq Soul Child, Billial, Jill Scott, Jazzy Fat Nastys, Roots, India Arie, Floetry and Jaguar Wright. Richard is the Co-founder of Fahrenheit Records and currently leads his own band called "The Universal Concept" which includes some of the areas most versatiloe and talented artists. His band has played many venues and has the ability to send his audiances on a musical experience that both pleases and satisfies the soul.
